Production Surges For Mitsubishi

The Mitsubishi Group of Companies is one of the auto manufacturers that offer outstanding and reliable vehicles in the industry. Just like every other manufacturer, they also do try to provide the industry and the market with great vehicles year after each year. And recently, a report from the AIADA newsletter informed the public that the company is now making sure that two of its vehicles would be ready to enter the market as entrants for the upcoming model years.

One of these is the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer which is one of the company's best selling sedans. This one has been redesigned and would hold more high technology features. There also is the 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander which is a sport utility vehicle. Both of these vehicles have been well prepared by Mitsubishi so as to be able to reap in sales and income for the company especially when it is already launched out in the US auto market.

Shinichi Kurihara is Mitsubishi's top executive for product development and he believes, "We believe Outlander will help us establish our image. We hope Outlander will bring new customers to our dealerships." Indeed, it would be a risk well worth taking. And with Mitsubishi OEM parts readily available in the market through various sources, it would not be a surprise to find many customers flocking to purchase these new Mitsubishi models as well as other Mitsubishi cars and vehicles.

So as to be able to prepare for these grand launches for both vehicles, Mitsubishi, which has its main headquarters based in the Asian country of Japan, has already made moves to add up and even double the number of workers and employees. The company also has had these workers bring up the production at its plant in Okazaki in Japan. In fact, there have already been some 500 to 600 new hired employees so as to make the production faster without sacrificing the quality of these mentioned Mitsubishi vehicles. Another move by the company would be to make sure that another one of its plants would now be having two shift operations instead of just one.
